Representative Stansbury ran against Jimmie Hall who was a seven-term representative in 2018. She was part of wave of women who ran on progressive platforms and won. Melanie has extensive experience in budgeting and in sciences. Her time in the Roundhouse has not gone unnoticed- she's gone toe-to-toe with veteran legislators, leading discussions on the House floor with love and compassion for our State.
